The Friends of Israel Australia/New Zealand - The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry

The Australian ministry of The Friends of Israel was started in May 1992 with the establishment of an office in Adelaide.

In February 2004, Dr. Deane Woods was appointed Field Representative for The Friends of Israel Australia. Deane represents the ministry in Australia, New Zealand, and Southeast Asia.
Our work in this country is similar to that in the United States: visitation, Bible studies, making the ministry known in churches and Bible colleges, and training Christians to show love to their Jewish friends. The Friends of Israel maintains a bookstore in Adelaide that provides literature produced by the ministry. A quarterly report, The Australian Shofar, featuring biblical and Jewish subjects, is sent throughout the areas mentioned above.
