Senior Houthi Leader Warns Israelis To “Stay In Shelters” Due To Planned Retaliation

The President of the Houthi’s Supreme Political Council, Mahdi Al-Mashat, stated on Tuesday evening (6th) that  “our response will be devastating and painful, and will not be able to be borne by the Israeli enemy.”

“To all Zionists, from now on stay in your shelters, or leave your country immediately, because your failed government will no longer be able to protect you,” Al-Mashat added.

“The aggressor will realize that the price he will pay is high, and no aggression will deter us from our decision to support Gaza until the aggression stops and the siege is lifted,” he concluded.

The Houthis also released a statement on Tuesday (6th) following the IDF’s airstrikes across Sana’a, stating that “the Israeli and American aggression will not go unanswered and will not deter Yemen from continuing its support for Gaza.”

“The Israeli enemy’s targeting of civilian infrastructure and facilities in Sana’a and other regions is additional evidence of the entity’s impotence and bankruptcy,” they stated.

“The Yemeni people will continue their efforts  to pressure the entity until the aggression on Gaza ends and the blockade is lifted,” they added.

“Targeting civilian objects is targeting the Yemeni people and their capabilities and reflects Israel’s failure to achieve its goals in Yemen.”

“The Zionist aggression will only increase the Yemenis’ steadfastness in their position supporting Gaza and the patient Palestinian people by all available means,” they claimed.

Sana’a International Airport began evacuating its employees on Tuesday afternoon (6th) amid warnings from the IDF of an upcoming strike, according to local reports.  Roads leading to the airport were closed, the Saudi-based outlet Al Hadath reported.

The Houthi official news agency, Saba News, reported that local tribes in Yemen’s Sana’a, Dhamar, and Raymah Governorates gathered and called for  “a general mobilization” to denounce “American and Israeli aggression.”

Senator Graham To Israel: ‘Do What You Have To Do Against The Houthis

US Senator Lindsey Graham (R-SC) on Tuesday (6th) urged Israelis to do what they have to do in order to defend themselves from Houthi attacks.

His call came after US President Donald Trump announced that the Houthis had agreed to stop attacking American vessels and the US had agreed, in turn, to stop attacking the Houthis.

The Iranian-backed rebels later stressed that while they had agreed to stop attacks on US targets, they would continue attacks on Israel.

“I am very pleased to hear that the Houthis have agreed to stop attacking American vessels.  This has come about because of the decisive action President Trump has taken against the Houthis – a terrorist group in Yemen.  Peace through strength does work,” Graham wrote in a post on X

“As to the Houthis continuing to attack Israel – they do so at Iran’s own peril.  Without Iran, the Houthis do not possess the capability to attack America, international shipping or Israel,” he added.

“To my friends in Israel, do what you have to do to protect your airspace and your people.  It is long past time to consider hitting Iran hard.  It wouldn’t take much to put Iran out of the oil business,” wrote Graham.

Israel has struck Houthi targets in Yemen over the last two days in retaliation for a ballistic missile attack on Ben Gurion Airport on Sunday (4th).

On Tuesday afternoon (6th), the IAF struck Sana’a International Airport in the Yemen capital, completely destroying the airport that had been used by the Houthis to smuggle weapons into Yemen.

The strike on the Sana’a airport follows airstrikes on the Hudaydah Port on Monday (5th).

Netanyahu To Hamas: ‘We’ll Tear You Apart”

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu arrived Tuesday (6th) at the IAF command center at the Kirya in Tel Aviv, where he closely followed the attack on Sana’a International Airport in Yemen.

“I came to the Air Force base and saw how our excellent pilots perfectly carried out the attack on the airport of the Houthi terrorist state,” Netanyahu said.  He added, “Among other things, we attacked the terrorist planes there that are used for their supply for their whole killing machine and the deadly missiles.  “I think we carried out an important operation there.”

Netanyahu clarified his government’s operating principle, saying: “I have a simple principle.  An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.  Whoever attacks us – we will pay him back sevenfold.  This is true for the Houthis, this is true for Hamas, this is true for Hezbollah.  This is also true for Iran.”

In addition to addressing the security threats, Netanyahu emphasized the goals of the war.  “I do not underestimate the challenge ahead of us.  I am simply confident in the willpower of our people and our soldiers to achieve the mission of victory.  And victory is not just the defeat of Hamas here in the Gaza Strip – it is also the release of the hostages and the changing of the face of the Middle East. This is another mission; it is not simple, but it is achievable.  And the ones who achieve it will be the people of Israel and the State of Israel.”

At the end of his remarks, Netanyahu answered questions from the public.  When asked whether progress in the Gaza operation would help achieve the goals of the war, he replied: “We are currently completing the phase we are in.  We are fighting a difficult but successful battle.  But now we are talking about intense fighting, in order to achieve both goals: One – the surrender of Hamas, and two – the release of our hostages.  And I say to Hamas – we will tear you apart to free our hostages.”

In response to the question, “How do you sleep at night?” – he replied: “First of all, I sleep little.  But I sleep with a clear conscience, because I know that we are doing everything to achieve all of our war goals, to secure our future, to ensure that everything you see here will continue with this momentum.”

The Explosive Device That Proves Iran’s Role In The October 7 Massacre – Dr.Yossi Mansharof

The Iranian explosive charge, discovered near Kibbutz Alumim and carried by Hamas terrorists during the brutal onslaught of October 7, is not a random artifact – it is yet another direct piece of evidence of Tehran’s involvement  in the October 7 massacre.

Iran has never concealed its broad support for Hamas.  On the contrary, it proudly boasts of arming, training and funding the terror group’s infrastructure for years.  Supreme Leader Khamenei openly praises the massacre but attempts to shirk responsibility.  Yet as more evidence surfaces, including Hamas documents seized by the IDF during fighting in Gaza, Iran’s denials ring increasingly hollow.

The documents reveal that the Quds Force, particularly its Palestinian branch led by Saeed Izadi, was actively involved in planning a wide-ranging terror campaign against Israel.  Ultimately, Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar proceeded without final coordination with Tehran or Hezbollah, thus averting an even more lethal combined assault.

The explosive charge found near Alumim is not merely a piece of ordnance. It is a symbol of Iran’s direct involvement in one of the worst atrocities in Israel’s history.  Tehran has blood on its hands not only for its part in the massacre itself but also for its long-standing investment in building up Hamas’ and Palestinian Islamic Jihad’s military wings.

Iran’s deep involvement is evident in every aspect of Gaza-based terrorism: from smuggling Sayyad Sniper rifles used by Hamas and Islamic Jihad to kill IDF soldiers, to years of training for terrorists, to the diverse weaponry it has provided, including drones and rockets, either smuggled in or manufactured locally with Iranian know-how.  Iran has also helped develop Hamas’ vast tunnel network across the Gaza Strip, allowing it to conceal hostages and mobilize fighters undetected.

Despite this profound role in orchestrating the October 7 massacre, Tehran has yet to face proper international condemnation.  President Donald Trump continues to claim he wants to solve the Iranian nuclear challenge and help Iran become a “successful country.”  But the international community must not allow the regime to obscure its direct responsibility: Israel – and the world – must treat Iran not only as a sponsor of terrorism, but as an active partner in crimes against humanity.

Israel’s public diplomacy teams must use this Iranian explosive device, along with documented meetings and correspondence between Saeed Izadi and Hamas leaders, to go on the offensive against Iran.  These materials should be presented at international forums and diplomatic summits attended by Iranian representatives, clearly laying out Tehran’s significant role in one of the most barbaric attacks in modern history.

It must be remembered that during this assault, hundreds of people – including babies, children, women and the elderly – were kidnapped.  Horrific crimes were committed, including systematic rape, mutilation, and the incineration of entire families, infants in their cribs among them.  The world must recognize Iran’s culpability and act accordingly.

At the same time, the presence of this Iranian-made charge highlights why it is essential for Israel to maintain full security control over Gaza.  Israel must do everything in its power to prevent the reestablishment of Iran’s deadly smuggling routes into the Strip.  Only firm Israeli control can block their return, and protect Israeli citizens from recurring threats.

Half Of Gazans Want To Emigrate, Will Seek Israel’s Help

Polling shows 49% of Gazans wish to emigrate and are willing to seek Israel’s assistance, and 48% approve of the anti-Hamas protests.

A survey, conducted this month, carried out by the Palestinian Center for Policy and Survey Research, interviewed Palestinians in Judea and Samaria and Gaza between May 1 and May 4, six weeks after the IDF resumed its operations in Gaza following the collapse of the ceasefire.

The polling shows that 49% of Gazans wish to emigrate and are willing to apply to Israel for assistance while 50% responded that they would be unwilling to do so.

Israel has prepared to facilitate mass migrations from the Gaza Strip, but the main challenge is finding countries willing to absorb the Gaza refugees.

According to the survey, 48% of Gazan civilians supported the anti-Hamas protests – a much higher number than in Judea and Samaria, where only 14% agreed with demonstrations against Hamas.

However, 54% believe the protests were organized outside of Gaza and had foreign influence, whereas just 20% say they expressed the will of Gazans.

In April, anti-Hamas protests erupted in Gaza despite threats of arrests and death.  Palestinians marched in Beit Lahia, chanting, “Hamas out, out” and we don’t want a Qatari tent – we want to live in freedom.”  Other chants included, “Yes to love, no to terrorism, yes to peace, ”Deliver the message… all of Hamas is garbage.”

One protest leader explained, “We want to live in peace – we want no more wars.”

Israel has completed preparations for the migration of civilians from Gaza, what remains is finding countries willing to take them.

Defense Minister Israel Katz has established a mechanism to assist 2,500 civilians daily in leaving Gaza.

The current population of Gaza is approximately two million.

The Ashdod Port is equipped to transport Gazans to other locations by sea, while Ramon Airport is ready to assist with air transportation.

The aerial route through Ramon Airport has already been used to transport 1,500 injured Gazan residents to other countries.

Another route for civilians to leave Gaza is through the Rafah crossing.

It is estimated that 35,000 Gazans have already crossed through Rafah into Egypt since the start of the war.  From there, many civilians seek residence in other countries.

16 flights to relocate Gazans have already departed, defense Minister Israel Katz announced.

The Deadly Domino Effect  Of Islamism In The Horn Of Africa – Shlomi Michaels

Qatar and Turkey, fueled by their Muslim Brotherhood doctrine, have positioned themselves as supporters of certain Islamic movements, including the Houthis in Yemen, Al-Shabaab in Somalia, the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) in Sudan.  These alliances threaten regional security and stability,  particularly concerning the ongoing conflict in the Horn of Africa, with deepening crises particularly in Sudan and Somalia.

Turkey has emerged as a key ally of Qatar in supporting various Islamist movements.  Its military and logistical support often includes advanced weaponry and training, further empowering groups like the Houthis and Al-Shabaab.  Turkey’s strategic interests in these regions align with its broader ambitions to project power and influence in the Islamic world.

Both Qatar and Turkey have historically supported the Muslim Brotherhood and its offshoots across the Arab world, viewing them as legitimate political actors.  This alignment has fostered a network of Islamic groups that share ideologies and goals.  Somalia’s Al-Shabaab is sponsored by Qatari funds, equipped with Turkish weapons, and trained on the ground by the Iranians – and they are about to take over Somalia: Mogadishu is in danger of falling within a matter of weeks.

Once the Muslim Brotherhood controls Sudan and they push into Egypt from the south, the Brotherhood in Egypt will join with the Brotherhood in Khartoum.  It is not far-fetched to assess that this dangerous development could result in Al-Shabaab and the Brotherhood controlling Egypt.  (Jerusalem Center for Security and Foreign Affairs)
