A Palestinian fuel truck rammed into a bus stop and struck two pedestrians in an Israeli town north of Jerusalem on Wednesday (11th). The attack left IDF Staff Sgt. Geri Gideon Hanghal, 24, with critical injuries. When Magen David Adom paramedics arrived, they pronounced him dead at the scene.
The act of driving a vehicle into a densely populated location to kill as many people as possible at once shows the senseless evil that Israel’s enemies regularly perpetrate. And while the United States is working on another hostage-release and ceasefire proposal, car ramming is a longstanding tactic of Palestinian terrorists that precedes the Israel-Hamas war, so it’s not likely to end anytime soon. Israelis are faced with the threat of such attacks every day, and those threats are only amplified by war. Let’s continue to pray for their safety and for an end to Hamas and its violence against the Jewish state.
